Here’s the recipe for the creamy steak Diane if you want to try making it yourself.
This is one of my favorite recipes and its so simple it can’t really go wrong. Fry seasoned fillets in butter to your liking. Remove them from the pan and rest on a plate (that’s the steaks, not you). While they’re resting, fry Onions and Mushrooms until soft in the same pan. (add more butter if you need it). Add about 300ml of double cream, two teaspoons wholegrain mustard, two teaspoons Worcester sauce, some chopped parsley and a shot of cognac. Mix and return steak to pan and simmer for about 15 minutes. I like to serve it with a few slices of baguette to mop up.
